Brake issues again
I did have the flrx lines clamped shut because I had to onstall the newly rebuilt calipers so maybe I will have to replace the ones that are 6 yrs. old. Any comments would be appreciated
I use a motive pressure bleeder to put air pressure on the master cylinder. Even then I have to use a rubber mallet to tap the calipers to get all the air bubbles out. It may take a lot of gravity bleeding to get the same results. I’ve heard of people using reverse bleeders with good results too.
I would avoid clamping the flex lines. If you do end up replacing them I would go with braided stainless steel. They have no rubber to expand and deteriorate over time.
