Objects in mirror are NOT larger....
I just installed a right side mirror on my '72. It is almost useless without the aspherical glass.

You can always consider adding more horsepower and stop worrying about what you see in your mirrors….

The stock 1972 mirror had the
aspherical glass. Most "reproduction" mirrors are flat mirror glass, and useless. You have to be careful about what you order and get the correct mirror. I had to wait 9 months for delivery of the correct aspherical glass right mirror for my '71 Judge after finding a vendor who could get them.

I have heard that the right rear contour, fender, doesn't allow for much of a view. Is that correct?

My rear view mirror says, "Objects in mirror are slower that they appear."

Try putting a blind spot mirror on there. All my cars have those.
