Hi guys. When I turn on the lights on my 73, the front lights and parking lights come on, but nothing in the rear. I hope it's just a fuse. Amazing how other projects pop up but will try to troubleshoot this very soon. Any ideas? Thanks very much.
Doesn't sound like a fuse. Rear harness connects in left kick panel area. Goes just under sill plate and then behind the sail panel, through a grommet at left rear of storage compartment behind the carpet.
All those rear lights use a common ground in the left rear corner of the car. Suggest you start with a test light, grounded well and start checking for power at the rear of the car. If you are getting voltage, likely you have a bad ground in the rear. If no voltage go up front and check for voltage in the rear harness in the kick panel area.
There is a connector under the dash, driver side around the kick panel area. This connector carries all the circuits to the back of the car. Check that first
I circled it in the diagram below, its the one 4 Vettes is talking about

Thank You! I think you pointed me in the right direction. I was working on replacing the door ajar switch, and it seems like this is when I lost power to the back half. I did not notice it at first. Happy New Year Sir!

Thank you! I think you have me headed in the right direction. I was replacing door switches, I might have messed it up in the process. Happy New Year!
