I just wanted to send an update on the 4.11 project. Finished! I took it out around the block and everything’s very smooth. Even just cursing around the side streets I can feel how it wants to pull as soon as I put a little throttle in it. Can’t wait to REALLY DRIVE IT! First time out of the garage with the 4.11!
I had a 1970 Oldsmobile BB with 4.11's. It was fun for a while. Got tired of driving on the interstate in the slow lane to keep revs down. (I wish I had today all the cars I owned in the past. Sigh)

Or was it a 4.10. The 12 bolt diffs have slightly different gear ratios than the C3 10 bolt diffs. The 10 bolt ring gear is about 1/4 inch shorter in diameter than the 12 bolt.

Hey motionfan, What size wheels and tires are those? Are they T Thrust Ds or do you use spacers?
