To add to Duck's post... In general if you deal with the other parties insurer (SF in this case) you won't have to pay a deductible.
You can file a claim with your own insurance and if they determine the other driver was at fault and they collect from that insurance, they will refund your deductible.

Every time I click on this thread and see that picture all I can see is way too much damage for them not to declare it totaled. Sorry to say it as any Corvette is worth saving.
Rear quarter, door, front fender all are severely damaged. Front suspension damaged. Maybe hood too. Proper panel alignment will be difficult. Plus, any regular body shop will not even touch this as their money is made by pumping out more simple work for insurance money.
Labor rate costs and replacement part costs will determine that they call it totaled.
Sorry for your loss. At least you have another '75 in your garage.

State Farm has recently partnered with Hagerty with insuring collector cars.
I have a different collector car insured thru State Farm and recent renewal from them shows State Farm/Hagerty policy.
Not sure if this would make any difference in your situation. Just FYI
One thing I find helps. If you have a shop that will do the work, leave the car there and have the adjuster and the body shop go over the car together. It has saved me time and aggravation.
Haggerty's estimate was for more than the policy limit of $15,000 and I saw several things they missed. They offered the wreck for about $4,300. I'll be taking the full payout. It's just a matter of some paperwork.
It was very easy to work with them and I'm happy with the outcome. Highly recommend Haggerty!
Got T boned last night. He has State Farm, I have Haggerty with an agreed value. If SF refuses to meet my stated value, does Haggerty cover the balance?
SEE UPDATE BELOW
Yes, Haggerty will go after State Farm for the stated amount.

Glad it is working out in a positive manner for you.
I've had Hagerty coverage for years but have been very lucky to have never had the need for their coverage due to a loss.
