Default Sidepipe mounting

Hey I just purchased a pair of used sbc hooker headers and 4" tubes for my 77 C3. They didnt come with hardware which is fine I can get the mounting kit from summit. My problem lies with the tubes themselves they don't have mounting brackets like the others Ive seen they have mounts with slots in them im unsure how to mount them or if I need to fab up some brackets. So my question is either how do I mount them to the frame with the current set up or the dimensions for the brackets so I can weld some on? Any help would be greatly appreciated im new to this! Thanks!

Each pipe should have two L shaped brackets. In your second picture, is that the remnants of a cut off bracket?
The pipes have to be low enough to barely clear the door, so I can't see how the existing modification is going to work

yes it looks like the previous owner had welded their own brackets on and most likely just welded them to the frame ignoring the bolt on method and had to cut them off im unsure but that's the only likely possibility. I figured id have to make my own brackets to bolt on i just dont know the size of the original brackets that come new. Any ideas on the length off the pipe to frame and height to reach the hole in the frame? Or just mount the headers and guess from there?

Measure 4" down from the bottom edge of the door and add maybe .5" clearance. The bottom of the L is welded to the bottom of the pipe. So measure from the pipe location 4.5" below the door edge to the slot in the frame that the mounting bolt goes.
