69 corvette new to me. Had a vacuum line from wipers? to the quad carb. Replaced the quad carb with a edelbrock. No vacuum port on the edelbrock like the quad carb. Where would I hook up that line?
thx
Hello,
The vacuum supply for both the wipers and the headlights ran off a nipple in the intake manifold behind the carburetor.
Do you have anything like that?
The vacuum hose off the front of the carb typically was for the distributor's vacuum advance.
Regards....
71 small block.
White plastic filter and gray metal one way valve.
Yes I have the line coming off the intake, it’s a T for brakes and vacuum. One vacuum line from the right side of the firewall went to the old quad carb. Think I’ll plug it into the main vacuum line coming from the intake. Only thing I see is the wiper covers remains up.

I'm imagining the stock GM setup and routing. Other than the carb change, is everything else stock configuration? The wiper vac line for '69 connects to the large vacuum tank under the driver's fender, behind the wheel. The vacuum line to the tank is the T-fitting on the manifold, i.e., you don't need a separate vacuum source for the wipers if you have a functional tank. Do your headlight doors operate?
