Default How Do You Remove The Window Rollers From The Upper Channel?

I’m cleaning all the original window glass channels to rebuild the mechanisms, install new electric motors and new regulators.
I disassembled everything but the rollers will not slide off either end of the upper channels.
I can’t see any reason they don’t just slide off the ends.
I don’t want to damage the original rollers or their mounts in case I need to reuse them.
I have new ones, I just need to know how to remove them from the channels so I can clean everything up and install the new rollers in the upper channels.
I’ve watched numerous videos and researched old threads but this isn’t covered.
I know many of you have done this so please share your wisdom.
Thanks in advance,
Greg

A light tap with a screwdriver and a hammer, mine slid right out.

I recall mine were very hard to slide out too. I think it's a combination of corrosion, hardened grease, and maybe a slight pinch of the tracks. Mine needed some gentle persuasion along the lines of what jlawn said. On reassembly, it all slid together more easily.

Thanks guys!!!
Once I get all the grease and crud cleaned off I’ll give them a slight tap to see if they pop out.
On close inspection I noticed on the vertical channels the extreme ends have a very slight bend upward of the metal, however the upper channels don’t have the slight bends.
The bent ends may or may not be from the factory.
The bends may allow the wheel mounts to slide on and off without any force.
If the wheels don’t slide off with a slight tap, I’ll put the slight bend at the channels ends and see how that works.
After I reinstall the new wheels and mounts, I’ll bend the ends back into their factory position.

Brakeclean is your friend. I had the same issue and after I cleaned off the crud they came right off.

Thanks for all the help guys!
I really appreciate the feedback.
After I pressure washed all the crud out of the channels I was able to remove one by hand without much force.
The other wheel needed a slight coaxing with a tap from a jeweler’s hammer.
