MIKE! If you don't identify yourself as a CF member when placing an order, how in the world am I to know!?
[b]I hope that you whole heartedly understand that I am not going to inquire with every customer as to whether or not they are CF members (!) - it is a CF member's obligation to present their status with us at the time of placing their order...
CF records indicate that you have been a member for 94 days - we presented the 10% CF member discount on January 31st of '03, therefore you were indeed eligible for the discount at the time of placing your order. In the interest of maintaining an excellent standing with my fellow CF members, and genuinely understanding your plight, I will honor your request and ink you a check for the difference and mail it out to you. 10% of your $595 purchase = 59.50. You should expect to receive your discount check before the end of next week.
:flag

Good news! As stated earlier on in the postings, all of our products - Corvette or not - apply to this group purchase. If you want to jump in with a system for a Camaro or even a Mopar, that's plenty fine by us
Please remember that to enjoy your CF group purchase discount, it is required that you call in your order and identify yourself as a verifiable member before the deadline of 6 PM EST Friday, March 28th. To place your order, please call me directly at (586) 531-2115, or if busy try (586) 427-6970. Yes! Major credit cards accepted.

I wonder if Paul has a big smirk on his face everytime he ships one of those black bloxes?
Finished my installation yesterday. The difference is incredible. You are just not going to believe how hydroboost transforms your car, especially if it is a manual brake car like mine. It's nothing like vacuum assist brakes. Everything is linear and there's as much power available to you as you could ever hope for.
The whole kit is very well engineered. This is the first major "bolt on" modification I've ever done where everything fit just like the directions said, had no surprises, and I didn't have to modify or fabricate anything to make it fit.
The car is resting for its recommended 24 hours to let the air settle out and I can't wait to drive it again tonight. I finally have brakes!
gerry72 - YES! I actually do have a smirk on my face every time I ship one of those black boxes! I have often thought about including a warning label stating: "Warning - steering wheel is closer than it appears! " Tickled pink to hear that you are happy with your system.

Just did this last night. Remove the brake light switch. In that spot rest a long extension connected to a universal joint which then has a short extension and a deepwell 15mm socket connected. The UV joint is just past the brake light switch mounting bracket.
Do this laying on your back of course. It's tight but it is doable...
So now mine is in place physcially. Just need to hook up the lines to the PS pump now. Might as well throw in a new MC from the parts store while I'm at it...
Well, looks like I might have to get in on this one afterall. I was beginning to kick myself for not ordering when I had the chance. Mine would be going on a 1978 p/b, Steeroids unit (actually, this is not on the car yet). I am interested in the Level II system, but was wondering if I should get the lineset delete option as my car is anything but stock under the hood. The brake system is essentially stock, but the motor is a 1995 LT1. Does this make any difference? Thanks!
The lines are no problem - essentially the distance between the assist unit and the steering input (stock or Steeroids) will remain unchanged, the ps pump is basically in the same location, though it will need a later model C4 style fitting to interface. However, if your engine compartment is radically altered beyond what is mentioned above, we could supply you with a partially finished lineset in slight over length with all needed fittings (finished on the assist unit end only - "raw" on the ps pump and steering ends) . You would then trim the braided lines to the lengths desired, then install the end fittings using common hand tools...
Call me directly at (586) 531-2115 to place your order and we'll discuss your ps line needs / options.
Count me in, this is the last step in my complete brake and suspension overhaul. I've been looking at these and if I can save few bucks all the better. :D
Well, just as we suspected, our suppliers are not letting us slide on any last CF / GP materials orders. Their deadlines were firm, so we'll "eat a few last orders here" - because we said we would. Please call in your orders before 6 pm eastern standard time Friday and we will call this a done deal!
Again guys - thank you for your fabulous support on this!
Guys - now that it's definitely a done deal, I really just want to say thank you for all of your support on this. We genuinely hope that all of you are completely satisfied with your purchases and genuinely pleased with your improved braking.
If any of you need a hand with any part of your installations, or have any questions regarding the systems, most definitely feel free to contact me directly at (586) 531-2115 during normal business hours - or e-mail me directly at paul@hydroboost.com
We have heard of 2 CF members getting their systems in so far - anybody else get their systems in yet? If so, we would most certainly enjoy hearing your feedback on the systems.
