There seem to be many recurring questions about suspension (esp springs and stabars) and brakes.

 

Well you could make a heading for ZZ4 swaps. I know that I did it, The Andies, Bseery, and many others in that category.

 

Keep 'em coming. :D

 

How about wheel/tire experts? mrvette bseery and myself know a bit about the swap to C4 style wheels
How about a road racing or autocross category? Fuel injection(TPI and others)? Body and paint? Forced Induction?
That should give you a few more.

 

I'll volunteer for 76's and C4 seat install ... (once I get them installed! :cry )

 

What do you guys think about including knowledge of a trade that we may be able to help other forum members with, for the do-it-yourselfers.

As far as vettes, I know a little bit about a little bit. (Timing, carbs, paint and body, brakes, weatherstripping, removing body from frame....

About the only thing I would say I MIGHT specialize in is electrics.

 

Clem. 427Hotrod, Wally Knoch & Grumpyvette certainly could be added to the engine builders list. Maybe even 69N.O.X.Ratt. :yesnod: They've all helped me and knew their ship.

"Bob" certainly knows a lot about transmissions. :yesnod:

Too bad Joe Lucia and Allan71 aren't around. :(

 

I don't claim to be an expert but I can help on 200-4r rebuilds and swaps,also know about building 383s,and learned through trial and error on these darn brakes.[work great now]

 

This may get me shot, untill we become a sponsor. BUT we are LEATHER EXPERTS since 1968. Anything about leather we can help. I can advise on NOT just our products but leather in general. WE do the ROlls Royce Owners club Seminar on Leather restoration and now with Connolly out of business we are the go to people for them. This knlowledge applies to OLD and NEW cars. We will probably be doing a Seminar in Bowling Green in 2004. This year is about booked. :cheers:

I would say Jim Shea is the steering master. Just look at some of his articels on corvettefaq.com. These articles and a couple suggestions from him have helped me.

 

I will field this question as it appears i am the go to guy for sandals...yes there are "boot" style sandals that are made....however, they are mostly seen in smaller, less known parts of the world, therefor hard to come by ...

i would like to suggest also that Superfast be the go to guy for any questions on "Lubricants".... :p:

I may be able to help, in some minute way....did the frame off resto all by myself, only thing i farmed out, the top and windshield install....had I not been burned out, I would have done those as well.
