The Vette will NEVER be done.
A while back someone asked if one ever gets done with a resoration. Well I was all set to call the 72 done, when today we got a 72 degree day and I thought it would be a good day for a run with the 72 over lunch. All went well until I put her back in the garage. I got her on the lift crooked, was only going to back it up a couple of inches. The rear wheels made it to the on ramp and she rolled back farther and faster than I expected. Had the driver door open about six inches, before I could react, the lift cable hit the edge of the door and chipped the paint and fiberglass top to bottom. Stupid, dumb azz, move, in a little bit of a hurry, one thoughtless second and crap. I was so mad at myself that I almost threw up. Immediately drove to my body mans place, he calmed me down, not the end of the world, it will be fine, but once that's done something else will go to hell. So it will never be done and I think we like it that way because what would we do if it was???? Ah, buy another project to make us suffer even more. Gotta love this hobby and remember, it's only money and isn't any good until you spend it. :banghead: :mad :mad :banghead:

Man that sucks,i feel your pain ive done stupid stuff like that to mine.It just makes youmad that you try so hard to be careful and take good care of it then this happens.Hope it comes out ok.
