Default Dumb NCRS Question

Are NCRS events open to spectators or just participants?

Thanks.

Not a dumb question at all...

The judging field is generally open to the general public (almost always if the judging is taking place outside) or sometimes a small fee is charged if the event is held indoors. Generally though, the public isn't charged and their attendance is certainly welcome.

If there are any special displays or events, those are typically limited to those NCRS members that have registered for the event and are not open to public admission.

I can't guarantee that what I posted above will always be the case, but it does seem to be the norm from what I have seen.

Regards,

Most events are open to spectators during certain times/days, it varies from event to event. At the events I have attended if you are an NCRS member you are expected to pay full admission even if only attending as a spectator.

Of all the NCRS events I've been to(which have been many!!!), the Chapter and Regionals(just like we just had at Stone Mountain)which are held outdoors(a few indoors too)have always been free to attend. Some indoor regionals, I've seen like the Orlando,Fl meet cost a few bucks to get in and view the cars, but that money goes to help support the local hosting chapter in most cases or given to a good cause like a charity of some sort. There is an NCRS event coming to St. Louis May 15-17 which I am attending. It is at the Sheraton West Port Plaza Hotel Tower in St. Louis.
