I have an emblem that I need the threaded studs to be about 2 inches longer. I need ideas on making them longer, and be stong enough to withstand extreme vibrations over long periods of time :D

Is the threaded stud a large enough diameter to say drill out 1/64" and then tap it to like 22 threads per inch and install a 2" long jewelers screw? Another possibility is to loop some thin wire around it and then thread it through your mounting surface and attach it somewhere inside...it may be sloppy this way, but a little rubber cement or something other surface contact glue would keep it from sliding around.
