Yesterday I abused one of the school's printers by printing out everything that Lars has written about the C3. I took my Tome of Corvette Knowledge to Staple's and had it comb bound. It was only $2.95, and it keeps me from jumping on my computer everytime I want to tune up my carb. I didn't realize how much good stuff Lars had written over the last couple of years. I bet I have 75 pages worth of info that you'll never find in a Chiltons. He should write a book. I would definitely have one on my shelf... and in my car... and in my garage....

Wish more of forum participants would at least use thier forum notebooks to store good treads and the forum search engine to look questions up. This is a great forum for hobbist information and contacts. But I do see cycles of similar questions/problems reposted.
Anyways congratulations on another great idea e3pres.

Could you help out a less computer literate guy like me. I have tried to print out a few tech tips, but the right side of the printing is always clipped off. Is there some adjustment I can make to print the whole line? Is it in font size, maximizer problem, printer setting, or what.

Thanks for the kind words, and glad to hear you find some of my tech ramblings useful! I don't think I even have all my stuff printed out - I'll have to do that some day...
I continue to update and correct my articles and information. The articles on the Forum are not always the latest revisions. If you have copies of my articles and want to check to see if you have the latest version, simply e-mail me a list of the articles you have along with the revision letter. I will e-mail you back the latest revisions if you are not current.

rponfick, I have the same question. I went into WORD and re-formatted the text and sent that to the printer. But that is a pain. I sent a request/quesion to the help board to see if re-framing could be done to set margin left to be cut off instead. It doesn't just cut off the words as it re-formats the text and then cuts off the words on the right. Sometimes losing 6 or 7 characters. sometimes crucial specifications, or product names and numbers.

I have had the same printing problem you describe and I have had very good results by going into File, Page Setup, and changing the orientation to Landscape. Try that and see if it helps your situation out.
