After checkin' the forum out for the past few weeks I just had to join. My 77 is my 1st Vette and Ive had it for a few years. I paid $2500 for it. It ran so bad it barely made it to my house under its own power and was it ever ugly. I drove my ugly car for almost 3 yrs while I saved money to replace parts/repair/modify my car. My investment has gone up a bit, almost 11K total at this point. While its not near as nice as so many of the vettes on the forum; I'm still pretty happy with the results so far. I drag/bracket race as often as I can. It looks good from 50' and farther :) , I can drive it anywhere, anytime :steering: and it's decievingly (engine looks like a stock L48) fast.
:hurray: Is possible one of you could tell me how post a photo, I've got a couple I'd like to post. I look forward to talking with all of you
:seeya Might find answers about posting photos in the help section. If the picture is on the web already then you just have to right click on it and then click properties. Copy the link and then start your post. Click the image button and post the link in the middle of the brackets.
Welcome to the forum. If you are like most of us, you will love it here. To post pics you need to upload your pics to a host site somewhere. I'm sure some of the guys will suggest a site where you can do that. Craig
Welcome to the forum and good luck with the vette sounds like you got a nice motor in it :yesnod: There a few others on here from hawaii ,cappy maurice,etc...You need to host the picture somewhere first then put the url in your profile which is to theleft of the page and add it in your signature.
Thanks for all the "welcomes" I look forward hangin' out with all of you. My present goal is to get this thing in the 12's with the cast iron intake, Q-jet, exhaust manifolds, 3.08 gears on the Drag Radials. I'll let you know what it takes... :seeya
