Yet ANOTHER A/C question (Wires on Compressor)
This might be impossible without pics, but here goes:
I noticed last night there are three wires coming off the right front of my A/C Compressor in my ’76. One of the green wires goes to the return line (I think that’s what it’s called?), one wire (black, IIRC) appears to ground to the bracket. The third wire (also green) is connected to a clip which isn’t attached to anything. Does anyone know what this is supposed to attach to? It looks like another clip would slide into it, but I can’t find one loose anywhere.
I’ve looked all over for pics that might show me, and I’m no good at reading wiring diagrams. The best thing to do would probably be to find a 76 and look, but hopefully someone here might be able to tell me or might even have a picture.
