Another great idea, which box are you running and where does it plug in? I see a plug port on the side of my 6A box put not sure what it is for.
I have the box mounted on the aft side of the passenger fenderwell near the vents. The tach wire is there permanantly, routed up just below the hood seal. So whenever I decide to use it, there's no reaching and groping for the port connection. I just attach the spade connections and go. :)
