Default Help-1968 manual brake master cylinder

Can someone tell me what port on the master cylinder goes to the front brakes, and what port goes to back brakes. Any idea what happens if the lines are reversed?

Thanks in advance

Usually the front port goes to the front and the rear port to the rear.
Does your '68 have a distribution block? It would be mounted on the frame below and slightly behind the master cylinder location on the firewall.

I will check for you when I get home tonight. Also, the distribution block, which also has a connection for the brake warning to illuminate, is not mounted on the frame. It is mounted to a bracket which bolts to the master cylinder.

no_radio is right. Front reservoir actuates front brakes and rear reservior actuates rear brakes.
