I have a friend who purchased a 72 big block, T-top car new in 1972.
He drove it 483 miles and parked it. To say the least it is original and in excellent condition.
It has leather, A/C, A/T, P/W, rear defroster and alot of other options.
The only thing not original is the battery.
He wants to put it up for sale.
He wants to know where would be the best place to advertise it and what would be a fair price for the car.
Thanks.
bigvette1 has great advice, if it is in like new condition I would look more to somewhere like Barrett-Jackson Auction. This car may just bring big $, well over $40k if all documentation is there.
I would be very interested in talking to your friend about it. I have a soft spot for the low mileage cars. As Mark (MNJack) stated, we have a low mileage 72 big block too, that is currently in the NCM on display.
I just sent you a quick email and let me know if you want to discuss this sometime.
