Now you know what that hesitation is that kicks in periodically which seems to be something like a plug in the fuel system. That button probably gets sucked up against the fuel pickup every now and then. Great for those dates where you can say it ran out of gas and will have to wait in the car for a couple of hours until the tow truck arrives. :reddevil
I did find out from the local Corvette shop that years ago they had some kind of gas additive that had these little aluminum button things inside the bottle. If you collected enough of them, you got something for free!
