Default Lars' HEI recurve kit instructions.

I seem to have missplaced the instructions I got with his kit just when I'm about to install those nifty new dizzy parts. I have messaged Lars, but don't have the appropriate format to receive the files from him and I don't want to put him to the trouble of having to mail them over to me. So I was hoping someone might have them on a readily readable format or is able to scan them for me. I would appreciate any and all assistance. Thanks.

I just finished my install last night. I have them, but my scanner is currently lent to a friend. If you still don't have them in a day or so let me know and I will get mine scanned.

chris.

Ask Lars to email an electronic format to me. He has my email address. I'll get it into something you (and everyone else) can use -- like a pdf file.

I have them in .pdf file format. Drop me an e-mail request to:

lars.grimsrud@lmco.com

and I'll send them to whoever needs them. Be sure to specify HEI or standard point-style system.

Hey Page - did you get the vac unit I sent to you, and have you tried it out...?

Hey Lars! I got the canister (thank you very much). But I haven't had a chance to plug it in yet. I jost got back from a weekend at the lake.

Will I need to readjust timing when I install?

Page -
It would be a good idea to re-check the timing for total timing (with the vac adv disconnected) after replacing the vac adv unit: The control rod on the unit holds the distributor plate in its initial relative position, so any manufacturing tolerance difference between the old unit and the new unit will change your initial timing with a corresponding change in the total.

If you get a chance, could you see if anyone is doing anything on those decals? I had ordered a bunch of 'em, but never heard anything back...
