78 carpet
I have a new carpet set, I was told it was for a 78. The problem is, now that I try to install it, it seems wrong. Instead of 3 covers for the compartments, there are only two, and the holes in the carpet for the seats do not even come close to lining up with the holes in the floor pan.
Did I receive a 78 carpet, or a 80-82?

Sounds like you have a carpet set for an 80-82 to me. I have an 80 and it only has two compartments, I believe 80 is when that change occurred. What color is the carpet? I might be in the market for new carpet for mine.

Where did you order the carpet from? What brand carpet (who made it) did they send you? For my 77 I ordered from TLD and I got ACC carpet that looks good and fits perfectly.

I got my carpet from ACC and it only had two pieces for the compartments. When I called them they told me that they just do it that way and to just cut the larger one down to fit the two doors and that worked fine.
