Default Strut Arm

What is the trick to hooking up the lower strut arm to the Fork in the rear wheel bearing assembly. It seems as if the strut arm needs to be pushed forward a whole lot to fit into the fork. This is the fork where the shock mount bolt goes in.
Does the trailing arm need to be jacked up. ???
Got the bearing assembly in and all torqued down.
Thanks for any help guys.

Lots easier to remove the center bracket and let it drop down. The struts have a lot of torque on them when everythings connected.

The ends on your strut rods are angled. Make sure you have them angled the right way.
