Power window gear replacement.
Well I got the new PW motors, tracks and windows in. Also replaced the 30a breaker in the engine compartment. Found one problem though. Passenger side window works GREAT! :yesnod: Looks like the drivers side windo gear is going to have to be replaced. There are about 4 teeth either gone or ground down and the new motor skips when it its these areas. Has anyone used that kit that just replaces the teeth by bolting a new plate with teeth on top of the old one? The spring mechanism is good so I hate to tear the whole thing apart. What do you guys think?
