Default OT: Anyone hiring?

Well the car sales business has screeched to a halt and of course with this come much yelling and cursing from above, not all but the a few. I really don't think I wan't to be yelled at anymore. I have been at my place of work for over a year (that's good for being a salesman). So is anyone hiring out there? I figured this would be a good place to start since I have to be discreet. My work as a termination policy that if they find out I'm looking for another job I'll be fired. That's normal for dealerships around here. I'm not looking to get anyone in trouble at my work, I just want to work somewhere else.
I have done counter drug ops in the pacific in the navy with conjunction with the coast guard.
4.0 business classes, 3.7 genereal study.
I have lots of common sense and I can learn anything.
My customer service score at work is a perfect 4.0, there is no higher score.
I'm have never been number one for volume at my store but I am consistently in the top 5 out of 40 sales staff.
I live in Conroe, TX
If anyone knows of something please IM or reply to this with a contact number, I'm not sure if anyone from my work is on this forum and I still have a wife in college to take care of so I do need to be careful.
Thanks everyone

Hey man,
I'm in the same boat - my last day is tomorrow - layoffs, no sales. I guess it's off to the soup line at the unemployment office.

Oh well, I was looking for a job when I found this one.

Figures, just bought a house too heh, life is weird. See my job doesn't lay off, they just don't pay you, there's no base salary and everyone, except management from what I understand, just had a massive hike in medical insurance. My fiance and I would be several hundred bucks. One guy at work has 3 kids and his is 800+ without dental.

:chill:

How about a Federal job, the Gov't is always hiring. I work for the FAA and word is Air Marshall jobs are plentiful and with your background you might have a step up on everyone else. You also get Veterans preference for employment. Some Gov't jobs pay great and some not so great but they all offer good benefits and job security. Check out these links: http://www.dot.gov/jobs_and_education.html http://www2.faa.gov/jobs/index.cfm http://www.usajobs.opm.gov/
Good Luck!!

My Fiance's whole family works for the FAA, they are on a hiring freeze due to budgets right now. I've been trying like heck to get in there. She works there too. I'll try that USA site though. Thanks for the tip.
