71 timing and compression
I have heard all types of advise in reference to setting timing for best performance using advance timing light etc. Please give me your ideas in how I should go about testing and setting my timing. What is the best timing light to use and where is it available from? Also what should I be happy with on my compression. I have the orginal LS5 engine with about 108,000 miles on it.

I can't help you with the compression but if you look at the top of the page you'll see a menu bar that says "TOOLS". Mouse over that and you'll get a drop down box that has among it's choices "TECH TIPS". From there selecting "C3" will get you a world of information.
