Default C4 seat question..again

I know this has been asked before, but most of the info that I can find is on installing manual seats.

I received a couple reply to my C4 seat ad. one was a set of power seats, that's what I would like to install, at least on the driver side. I'v read the corvette faq about installing c4 seats in a c3 but it is about installing manual seats using the c3 tracks. I do not want to start cutting the floor pan up and hacking it or buy a set and find out that I can't use them.

Has anyone here installed a c4 power seat in their c3. If so, could you tell me what is involved or a source of info/link about the installtion.

Thanks for any info you can share.

AFAIK C4 power seats won't fit without modifying the floor. Without floor mods the seats would sit so high you'd hit your head and legs hit the wheel.

the power mechanism raises the seat about 4 inches. If you installed it, the seat would be way too high and your head would be jammed against the roof.
