Zane, take it to a Chevy dealer, it's bound to have a part number on it, if it does there is a good chance they might have it in stock. These units were used on a number of different vehicles over a span of several years.
If you can't locate a replacement from the dealer try one of the Corvette used parts dealers. Gary Gruhala is a good place to start, he can be located at http://www.angelfire.com/mo2/GruhalaEnterprises Give him a call, he's a great guy to deal with.
Good Luck!
I already took it apart. There are no loose solder joints. If I cannot find a replacement I'll probly see if I can replace the tri-acks and capacitors to see if that will make it work again.
Before you start replacing parts, test the relay first.Unplug it,using a meter on ohms, find the internal coil, put 12V across the coil. You should hear the relay pull in.With the meter across the contacts, you will see the contacts change from normally closed to normally open or vice versa.
If this is for an 80, then the part no. is 14016250. I did purchase several in
September 2000 and the list was $259. The dealer I bought them takes
25% off list. I searched for them today on several GM dealer's web sites like
GM parts direct and the number did not come up. You may want to call
your local dealer, give them that number and it may have been changed.
Zip products also listed ES-388 at $259 in their 2002 catalog.
Also looked at Parts Voice web site which is great for finding dealers who have NOS parts. It showed Pacific Corvette as having one.
They are at 800-228-2857.
Relay has been checked long before I posted. Thanks for the idea.
This is a 78 and I just tried that part number at GMDirect and nothing. I'll check on Zip as I had no idea they had one.

Re: Wiper Delay Electronics (Zane)
Zane
Where did this come from on teh car? I ask, as I seem to recall that the wiper delay relay on mine didn't look quite like this? Mine is under the centre console (on a 78) and from memory (alas, the car is in it's garage, 2 miles from home) mine seemed a littel more complex?
Part numbers I gave you are for 1980-82, the delay module is located
in the jack compartment. The 1978 you are looking for takes a
different module. Not sure how different it is from the 80 thru 82.
The 1978 and 79's used GM part no. 14005004 which is most likely
discontinued. Using that no. you maybe able to find an NOS one
somewhere.
Pacific Corvette is listed as having one. This is the source I used to
search for the part. It is very handy for locating current and discontinued
parts: http://www.partsvoice.com/
