Yep....it's a fitting crime that should be punished by being drawn and quartered...whatever that means :D
Dep
A person is hooked to four horse by there arms and legs then the horses are whipped to go in four directions. Prolly not really quartered but that might be a reference to the type of horse used, I would imagine it left the person with not limbs. :U
Frankly, I've always washed my windshield whenever I felt the need for it, and never looked in the mirror to see if there's a Corvette behind me... I didn't know that was wrong...
If you're driving your car, it's gonna get dirty---that's a fact of life. Sure, if something like that happens we curse :cuss the same way we curse when it rains after we wash our cars (even though it's nobody's fault), and then we move on with our lives...
Re: C5 guys bored or something?? (SharkintheWoods)
I loved that one thread awhile back where one of the C5 guys was asking what baseball cap would go well with the new Corvette windscreen sticker he'd just bought...
Well I guess it happens in all of the forums in here... :chill:
Pedro'74: Well obviously, Pedro, you are washing your windows ALL WRONG!!!First you must ONLY do it at a stop light. Washing "on the fly" is STRICTLY FORBIDDEN.
If you decide to wash your windows, the proper etiquette demands that you get out of your car, walk back to the car directly behind you, KNOCK THREE TIMES (on the ceiling if you want me), and then bow to the driver and ASK his permission to clean your windows...ALWAYS REMEMBERING TO SAY "MOTHER MAY I". If the driver says "SIMON SAYS YES YOU MAY WASH YOUR WINDOWS", then you can go ahead and do it. If he says "no I just cleaned my Corvette", then you'll just have to do the whole thing all over again at the next stoplight.

I seem to remember a recent thread on the C3 Forum about 'what kind of DOG do C3 owners have?'.

Man, I didn't think this was so involved.... And besides, I thought that if I walked towards a C5 at a stoplight the guy would think I wanted to rob him...

Re: C5 guys bored or something?? (SharkintheWoods)
Never visited the C5 forum before but I read all the posts and think what a bunch of morons. Some were ok but to get totally upset because someone cleaned their windshield is going a little far. Just because you drive a vet doesn't mean you own the road.
Why are you guys so pissy at c5 owners??? Other than the fact that 90% don't wave they're no different from the c3 owners I know.....
:iagree: Are we not now talking about the same thing they are, on our site? I'd hate to see what the reaction is when everyones caught in the rain. :banghead:

Don't think for a minute that the C5 people don't laugh at us. Especially with that "favorite doggy" thread we had.
CAUGHT IN THE RAIN!!!!!
Never happen homey. Neither rain, nor sleet, now snow TOUCHES my babies :D Sorta like a mailman in reverse

Meh. I've driven my vette in the rain. Its a car. Water isn't going to damage it, so why should I care?
I've browsed the C5 and C6 sections a few times, and usually get annoyed at all the garbage they talk about. Half the threads might as well be a bunch of girls arguing over what color shoes to wear .
I really don't see all that much difference between goofy threads started here and over there. But I DO see a TECH/PERFORMANCE section there. DOH!!!
I didn't say that!!!! The devil made me do it!!!! :D
