Cool THANKS !! I sure remember that awesome idle :yesnod: What RPM does it idle at ? My friends 383 Race engine idles at 1300rpms, not sure where I'll end up.

Here's my solid roller specs: The lift is intake .616"/ exhaust .622" with 1.6 rocker arm ratio. Duration @ .050 is Int. 248 & Exh. 254 . The cam timing events @ .050 are 16 52 63 11. The lobe separation angle is 112 degrees. This cam has 4 degrees ground into it to improve the lower rpm torque so when it's installed at 108 degrees it will essentially be straight up at 112 degrees.

The TURD can be made to run. Just needs some work! It is getting to be that time of year for some tear down.

Gordon, after our talk last night I took Lisa out for dinner tonight and we got on the discussion of the vette. I am pleased to report that I was given the "blessing" to pull the engine and install what we talked about! cam, headers first then I can add the heads with "extra money" as she called it through the lessons I teach......... she said " men and their toys, who's is faster, who's is shinier" so the "Turd" can have a power boost and maybe beat the quad we saw at Atco.... :hurray: :hurray: :hurray:

 Lets start gathering parts. Wish I could get the go ahead for a roller cammed 383 but I think that will have to wait. That Quad was fast. What about a converter while your there. Did she realize what she gave you the go ahead for. I can spend other peoples money real fast. :jester

Isky Cams sells complete solid roller kits minus rocker arms.

flatlanderracing.com has them for 1029 bucks.

Just thought I would throw that out there

I am thinking about the RR-520 if i build a 383 in the future
look here to see it for sale http://www.flatlanderracing.com/iskycamschevysb.html

look her to see the cam specs http://www.iskycams.com/timingchart....g_chart_id=237
