Problems with rear suspension
I have recently bought a Corvette 1968 L71
When driving over bumps, the read end seems to move to either side, as if the rear weels are steering to one side, pretty scarry. Same feeling when taking a sharp turn.
I would like fix this issue and generally improve the ride of the car.
The rear suspension and wheel are original, but the rear tires are 275/60 BF Goodrich Radial T/A.
What should I do ?

Sounds like you need to rebuild your trailing arms. Either the Pivot bushings or the axle bearings, if not both, are worn excessivly.
You need to give the rear suspension a thorough inspection to determine what is worn out and needs to be replaced. I would anticipate that you need all new rubber bushings in the strut rods, trailing arm pivots, spring link bolts, and differential front mount.
Also, your differential side yokes could be worn, causing excessive camber change when the suspension gets unloaded. You can check the yokes by raising the rear of the car on jackstands, then pushing in on the top of the rear tire while raising the tire up from below. Watch where the yoke goes into the differential case to see how much movement is there. More than 1/8" or so would indicate excessively worn yokes that should be replaced.
Good luck, and keep us posted.
