Re: Update on latest engine mods... (GrandSportC3)
Olivier: You might want to caution folks that are driving on the street and have to pass pollution tests that this mod WON'T give them a passing grade ;)
Now where the heck did you find it and how difficult was it to install??? This sounds like JUST what I have been looking for! I feel EXACTLY the same as you about sucking oily funk BACK into the engine...NOT a good thing. Please let us know.

Well - it for sure wouldn't be emission legal.. but '74 and older cars should be exempt anyways...
On emission controlled vehicles - you can always plug the valve at the headers and hook up the PCV system for the inspection... Shouldn't take more than 10 minutes to do that.. :D :D

Not for those using them as "daily drivers". They have to be plated as regular vehicles and WILL be tested. At least...in my state (IL).

Damn!!!  I don't know too much about other states laws.. I would never move to a state that has too many restrictions.... :nonod: :nonod:
Florida Rocks!!
Anyway - it takes only a few minutes to hook the PCV system back up for the inspection...
Re: Update on latest engine mods... (Cali,68,L-79)
Thought just a few weeks ago you were going to sell the 68?
nope - I'm going to sell the C5 Vert in February if I don't find a job by then... (tomorrow will be my last day at my current job... We are getting outsourced to Chile where our jobs will be done for 1/10 of the cost)....
Right now - I'm keeping my '68..

Oliver sorry to hear, especially with just buying the house and all. come work for me as a contractor with the NTMPS for the Navy. There is no such thing as cheaper costs where the Navy's concerned.
