Car had been parked for a year, brought it home got it started, ran rough like water in the gas, new gas.
Now it will not start, am getting very intermintent spark (enough to light a timming light off #1 wire, I checked three other wire's and got a lite spark off one)
When I crank the engine with out touching the gas pedal the fuel injectors spray fuel constently into the throttle bodies, when I crank the engine with the pedal to the floor the fuel injectors pluse fuel in?
I have replaced everything in the Distributor (cap, coil, module, pick up coil, roter)
What to do next? Advice needed
Is there a link to a Crossfire injection forum?
Thanks
Yes there is a Crossfire Forum, it is run by one of the Corvette Forum Members. I saw a post the other day that there were some problems with the Xfire forum and it was being worked on.
Here's the last address I have for the Crossfire Forum http://www.crossfire.homeip.net:81
I did the same thing you did, replaced everything in the distributor. Then I looked at my distributor cap and noticed it came without a ground (center slot). I could not keep the engine running. Went back to parts store and bought the center ground connecter and she fired right up.
