New engine question
Would that engine fit a 74-76 year model vette?
What all varibles are there to consider when installing a new engine?
Do you think this is a good idea?
Thanks!
you ARE kidding...right?
also...no offense Montana but what im thinkin is, "what the world needs is a 16 yr old with a 500 HP motor...
sorry...
Sure it will fit, but you need to check on what your insurance will cost you before you make any decisions. That 4-5k car with that motor in it is gonna cost you 2-3k a year in insurance alone at your age much less what it will cost you to feed it.
But hey, if you can afford it more power to you
I'm confused about the rotten part. some1 says it will be rotten.. another says it wont...uhh... inform me lol.

Regarding the birdcage .... this is the part of your C3 body that is never seen
until it gets rotted. It is a steel 'cage' that is within the fiberglass body - surrounding
the passenger compartment. Down in GA, you will have better luck than in
New England. Stay here a while, read all the posts - learn a lot - get the
checklists - search for posts on "birdcage" - see my website for gruesome
pictures of my rotted mess. Search for frame repair posts, too.
You gotta know where to look, if you wanna find a good one.
Once you learn more, you can find a vette worth buying an engine for.
The guys above thought you were someone that has been a 'troll' here
before. Usually, Georges posts are more inflammatory than yours.
Good Luck. First you get the knowledge, then you get the money, then you
get the power, then you get the woman.
