John,
That's a good deal....You going to buy one?
They make working under the Vette a breeze.....Cranks up one side in two pumps....and bends the car back into it's original stock body position at the same time. :D

Stock body position
 That would be nice. I have its heavier cousin. Its a pain to pull around and pumping takes forever but it works fine. I am just itchin for it to break though.
Fever......I have one of these too, only use it for the Harley.
Is it really strong enough for the vette...?
Phil
I had been using one I got my father from Sam's club rated at only 1200 lbs with no problems but I just pulled the Craftman out and it won't get the car off the ground plus it sits a touch higher so you have to use a second jack to get it off the ground. I am going to try it again in a few days to see if there is air in the jack but I tried purging per the instructions with no luck. If I can't get it to work I am going to trade with my father.
Damn....I wonder if Sears will take this "Red" jack back? That Yellow Jeg's color matches my car.... :D
That Jeg's Jack looks very similar.....anyone out there have one of these Jeg's Jacks? Seems very reasonable in price $149.00......However shipping and HANDLING should just about eat up any savings. :D
Got the same jack for Christmas...love it! My friend (who probably wanted his own older sears floorjack back, I've had it for a month) suggested it to my wife. Looks as stylish as the car (almost)! ;)
You guys got any tips for setting the thing up? I used it once on a car and it worked fine, but now it seems to have lost that quick pump-up action it had...

Re: Sears Aluminum Jack (John65,80)
I just got a steel one last week at Costco - $70.00. It's heavy, about 90 lbs, but I don't intend to carry it around with me. It has a 3000 lb lift capacity and goes from 4" to 21".

Re: Sears Aluminum Jack (Fang S-289)
I saw that one at Costco, but it was wired down. It it one of those "quick lift" (meaning about 3-4 pumps of the handle to max lift) jacks?
I'm not sure as I haven't used it yet, but since I'm not a professional mechanic I won't be jacking cars all day long so 3-4 pumps or 9-10 really doesn't matter.
