Im only about 20% through the game but on the 96/111(112) of nfs underground stuck on a stupid endurance race. i hate those thing :rant:
well i might get xbox live sometime maybe we all can hook up and race. and the C5R is soooo coooool :cheers: :cool:

You will get a bunch of RAR files. You need to download a program to unrar them. I personally HATE rar. :)
One thing majorly bothers me about the game - actually, a few things.
1) The 78 uses a late 79-82 85 mph speedo and tach.
2) The redlines are ALL WRONG. The L-88/ZL-1 redlines @ 5500 rpm or so. What's worse? So does the LT5.

okay.. i got a universal extrator and after i extract the files, the only things that change are there is a new folder in "CORVETTE-DEViANCE_[bt-gm]_[EFnet]" thats labled "dev-corv"... prob is.. the new folder doesnt have any files in it... any ideas?

If I had paid money for that I think I would have been pi$$ed.
1. All the manual transmissions act like they have torque convertors.
2. None of the tach redlines are correct.
3. Last I checked Lingenfelter didn't make performance upgrades for 58 Corvettes.
4. 71 LS-6 cars seem as fast as 1980 L-48 cars.
5. No dashboard views, instrument cluster only.
6. No means to select engines.
7. No internet play, LAN only.
8. Lots of weird scenery.
9. To arcade like driving model.
I think that the following offer much better driving simulation.
-Live For Speed
-Sports Car GT
-Viper Racing

Ya i have got to say i am pretty disappointed. NFS Underground despite being a game about ricing is way better, the graphics are probably a 100 times better and the driving is more realistic. Thanks for the link wilcox im sure its saved many forum members from wasting $20 or more

I tried burning it to a disk but it didnt work... :mad :mad
windows xp doesnt recognise that file and I think I got a virus along with this download..
