I got it and burned the cue file to CD and did the install but when i try to play the game it shuts windows down.
I have XP too and don't think it's compatable.

Actually I'm racing the rice burners in Need 4 Speed Underground :reddevil
Then I finished it. :)
I just found the 3rd party LAN program, so that will revive it a bit, since I can race my brother.

That .bin file is the image. A "CD Image" is a file that contains the contents of a CD. You would use a program like Nero (nero.com) to open the cue file and burn the bin file to the CD.
Image here does not mean "picture" so literally.

I finally got it burned but now all I get when I try to start the game is "Corvette caused an error in corvette.exe. If you get this error again please reboot." well I did as well as uninstall and reinstall and still no joy.
Also I noticed that there is pretty much nothing for files in the game directory.
Can someone verify this for me
Main directory Corvette,
2 sub directories data and direct x
corvette.exe
data.sma
uninstall.exe
the data directory only contains video and audio files not much else.
What'd I miss?

use windows update and get all the updates... most likely u need to update your direct x. Make sure your video card derivers are up to date. and then u should roll.

To everyone that thinks its going to take a million hours to d/l. that wrong. The way the download works, the longer you download the faster it will go. usually takes about 2-3 hours for a 600mb game

To everyone that thinks its going to take a million hours to d/l. that wrong. The way the download works, the longer you download the faster it will go. usually takes about 2-3 hours for a 600mb game

Please double check my burn procedure
Download WinRar files. 0-44 and dev-cor.rar. extract the Dev-Cor.rar file and then burn the image using the .cue file. I used NERO, went to file, burn image and pointed it to the cue file and all burned perfectly
Then install the game using setup.exe right?

STILL no joy, I got the .cue file from Corz and tried using that to burn with no luck so I thought, maybe it is just my POS M.E. machine and brought the cd to work. Nothing still getting errors. It TRIES to start then fails out. Which tells me only one thing. My download is corrupt or something along those lines :banghead: :banghead: I am NOT waiting 12 hours to download that thing again. looks like I am SOL :banghead:

I have it on X-Box. The driving is very much like arcade, but still very fun. I can't believe I have a game that actually has my 78 Silver Ann. Paint job. BUT, it only has the damn L-48 horsepower engine. Oh-well.
