Rat grew up not far from that spot (Millingport). That road is a beiotch to pass on. Glad you're okay.

That sucks. The car held up quite well for an impact at that speed. I think it would have been a lot worse in a newer car - airbags or not.

Man, sorry to hear that.
I lost control today too going just 35mph turning under a bridge that had some ice. (yes, in Texas) Back end slid out but I got control and for one of a few times ever, there was no traffic at that spot.

that looks really horendous, glad you are still with us. sorry to hear you had no insurance and I can only imagine how much that sucks big time. You are right, we all do things we later regret = bottom line is you are alive and able to move on to another vette :yesnod:

I agree with most of you. Sad to hear that one vette is gone, but most important thing is that you are OK! There is lot of cars in here waiting for you...
