took out my engine and trans tonight,,,,,block is ok,,,,trans was cracked in half
flexplate was warped, tq converter bent, and damper was bent,,,,damn!!!!!! :mad

Glad to hear yur walkin and talkin. What kind of injuries did you sustain? From the sound of things it looks like you got lucky considering the circumstances. The fact that you didnt collide with another vehicle means you wouldnt be facing lawsuits from others and in a situation like this thats a godsend. Was there any property damage liable to you? Hopefully not.
I have the TH400 from my 73. Its for sale at a reasonable price. Shipping whouldnt be worth it so it would have to be picked up. Its in excellant shape and ready to go. Needs nothing. It has a shift kit already installed and has a new kickdown detent solonoid. It comes with a stock convertor. I used Mobil1 synth fluid in it. If you interested drop me a email. I have the flexplate as well

Well, live on and learn.....at least the enginen is mostly ok, the tranny, well those are around, and cheap enough...so no HUGE loss, as for the rest of the car, about a weekend and a bit of Zaino and all is well....no???
