Let us know how the new one comes along, and seriously consider taking some of that lead out of your foot. Might not be so lucky next time
a couple weeks ago i done something like you, but lucky me, neither the car or i got hurt. i hit a 45 S curve going 110  long story but my life flashed before me as my 86 vette spun around several times. miraculously i kept the car on the road altho i ended up facing the wrong direction that i was going. that was enough to slow me down. we all learn from our mistakes or most of us anyways :) hopefully you'll have another vette on the road soon
wow, I cant see the pics, and after all the comments...I cant stand it!
cursed red X's!!!'
I backed into a trucks wheel once....mussed my paint...so far no bad wrecks, but I have gone skidding a few times.
I can host the pictures for you if you can e-mail them to me at arto@finnshark.com. No bandwidth limits here, and a 10 Mbit/s Internet connection should satisfy the hot demand for the pics ;)

I am always amazed at how well the passenger compartments shield the occupants. I pray I never see mine like that! I saw my wife's old 280Z after the kid who bought it rolled at about 100. The road curved, he did not. something about fight with girlfriend, wine, and being only 17 or 18. It made me sick to my stomach looking at my wifes former car. Hard to think about a car you associate with someone utterly destroyed and not think they must be gone too. The kid staggered away. Staggered more do to the wine than the wreck. Everything was mangled almost beyond recognition, but the cabin held. The Datsun Z cars earned even more of my respect after that.
