Hey Tom ballpark guess what would be the weight savings between the copper/brass radiator on my 75 corvette and the alum one? My radiator is in OK shape but if the weight saving is enough I'm interested in upgrading.
Tom, I've go an '80 model, with automatic. Late this year I intend to have a 383 installed and store my stock 350. Am I correct that model A77A is the right direct fit? If so, I'll contact you tomorrow or Friday.

The aluminmum radiator is about a pound short of being 1/2" the weight of an original copper radiator. That's the good news, the bad new is if you're adding the dual fans it brings it right back up where you started. The spal fans having very good (but heavy) motors.
The fans do come with wiring instructions that even I could understand. The only thing I might change is that Spal says to install the switch in the heads and they tend to run hotter than any other part. If you can get it into the intake manifold, that's works better.
DISCOUNT CODE AND ORDERING ACKNOWLEDGEMENT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Everyone note: The computer "automatically" acknowledges the order and I have no way of adjusting the price for the sale. The "code" is nothing more than a "flag" to us that the order qualifies for the CFGP. I originally said to put something in the fax field but someone told me it wouldn't take letters. If anyone has any trouble with the "online" process, then just call me and place the order manually. Someone used CFGP as there middle name, that works too!
By my informal count based on those here that said they have or will purchase, shows that we should have 12. :hurray:
I think we're going to make it but my count today was (5) five actual orders. A lot of guys are sitting of the fence waiting for the number to go up. That's not helping.
I think on Friday I'll post all the names we have and if anyone is missed they can bring it to my attention at that time.
Hey Tom. I purchased a new radiator last week that you emailed me about it being held up due to some core problems. Unfortunately I didn't go through the forum to purchase it . Can I still get the discount ?thanks

I shipped and billed your order today. I don't want to open a can of worms making exceptions because we do get orders everyday from "non forum" people and they are not receiving the discount, nor are they counted in this sale. Your order was placed two weeks ago, before the sale was started.
Since this topic wasn't stated earlier, I'm going to give you the 10% discount and credit the card the difference. But I'm not going to count it in the GP.
I need to draw a line somewhere because I'll get guys calling in saying I bought one a month, two months ago, etc. and I'm just not going to go back. Sales have windows and this one started with this thread and closes on 3-15-04. Even orders that we get during that window that do not reference the sale are exempt because it was intended to be "Forum Members" only. I hope everyone understand this rule and my position.
Ooo too good to miss, can you give me the weight of an A70A and SP460 set up for my shipper. It will be coming to UK.
By the way I have had a problem with your online ordering in getting a UK address in. But maybe its just me! :D
The radiator alone is about 22 pounds, with the fan we use 36 pounds as shipping weight. Both include the box and packaging. A lot of shippers use dimensional weight, which is 36 x 9 x 24.
The online ordering is fussy and requires certain settings in your web browser. I know you have to have "allow cookies" set on. The most important part is the first time you register. Be very careful to set up the account with correct email addresses and passwords. Once it's set, you can just login in and it's pretty simple then. REMEMBER THE LOGIN AND PASSWORDS.
As far as the UK or any overseas order goes, the site fields are not set up for that and they will not apply to the "free shipping".
