With one week left and many more out there that have "said" they are going to go ahead with this, I am committing to the second level now. Hopefully this will be what others were waiting for and take advantage of it. Right now I only have (6) six actually orders. Here they are:
I know you have been inundated with questions so one more should not be a problem. I want to make sure I get the right item for my 76. A few months ago I replaced the upper hose. Evidently there were 2 different hoses, an early model and a later model. Mine was the later model. In looking at the direct fit radiators, A73A and A77A, mine resembles the A77A. It has the upper hose connection coming straight out without the bend as in the A73A. Also the automatic transmision cooler connections are both above the lower hose connection as in the A77A. Would you recommend that I order the 77-82 radiator instead of the 73-76? Do I need to measure the radiator to ensure it is the correct size? RMA's are a PIA, not just for me but you as well.
I normally don't log into this forum, but sure glad I did. It's not a matter of me wanting a new radiator, I needed one for the past 6 months. I was going to go with brass/copper but for a $140 bucks more I can get one of these (with the discount).
You're right I have been buried. In fact, everyone listed above has already shipped. We also settled this question on the phone today but in case there are any other "late 76er's" out there, he's what we found. The 2nd design 76 is actually the 77 model , A77. The easiest way to tell the difference is that the 77 model is the only one with a straight inlet. The 76 has a 27.5" core and the 77 has a 26.25".
Also, for the 77-82 guys, please indicate what year you have. We have broken the A77 model into two models. The inlet on 77-79 is 1- 1/2" and the 80-82 is 1-1/4". Both are straight.
Looks like we're going to have a lot of guys running  this summer!
Note: I edited the first thread to read as follows:
Everyone interested in this offer should place an order for whatever you what "online". The automatic computer acknowledgement will show the regular price plus U.S. shipping charges. DISREGARD THIS. In the middle name field type "CFGP".All orders placed before 3-15-2004, using this code will be discounted 15% and free shipping. This applied to radiators, dual fans, and storage units only.
My 'Vette is a '77 body on an '81 chassis (auto trans). Is there any difference between the rad for a '77 and an '81? Also does the free shipping include Canada, and does it include brokerage fees?
I just submitted an online order using CFGP as the middle initial, for the A77A for my 78. I had missed the post about the specfiying the year because of the differences between the 77-79s and the 80s.
