Re: vortech supercharger on 69 vette? (72 Stingray)
This site confuses me - http://www.lt1intake.com , is this to turn the car into fuel injection? If so, It doesnt mention the injectors or the computer. This setup can still be supercharged right? Is there any advantage to putting a lt1 intake on the vette? They mention a small distributor being needed to fit, a 87 or newer... would an aftermarket dist fit? One that has a tachdrive? I wouldnt want to lose my factory tach. Thanks for your thoughts
Well, once I finally have an engine back from the shop we shall see if the Stealthram kit fits under the hood. There was a report back sometime ago that it fits the later model c3 hoods (74 and up I think).
I'm not sure about a supercharger though. Might have to have some holes drilled out or something in the mounting plate.
Our hoods are the same so I am hoping the HSR ram fits because that is tha system I want. Even it does not I will just use the stealth ram in my formula and transplant the LT1 intake into my vette.
