Front spring, is this right??
Digging into the front end last night to start my rebuild. Pulled out the stock spring and compared it to the new 550# springs I just bought, and I see that the new spring is 2-3" shorter than stock! :confused:
Is this correct???

Finished my rebuild yesterday. I had the same concerns. Not to worry. Mine were the same, old spring 10 coils and the new one 6 coils. They are much easier to install. Piece of cake.

you should see the difference between the coil-over springs and the stock ones. 1/3 as long! I never thought they would work. The coil-overs are 2 times thicker.
