You don't want them as badly as you think... :U :iagree:
I have been toying with replacing the inner reflector/back up lights with some outer brake/taillights but I think the bubbles are horrid
To each his own, I have bubbles on my 77 and I like the look. I think the originals were horrid, but that's just my opinion. Probably wouldn't go with them on a 68-73 car with the flat back style, but on the urethane rear bumber cars I think they look good.

Ditto...previous owner had put them on mine. They were promptly removed- still have them if anyone wants them.

Now I gotta figure out how to rewire the taillights/backups....

CAPTAIN, Your "stuff" is on its way to you PRIORITY!!!!

What is horrid is paying $200 for 4 peices of plastic (originals).

I have em and like em.

:withstupid: The cost for the replacement lenses are friggin RIDICULOUS!!. My lenses are cracked so I have no choice but to replace them with something and I am seriosly considering the bubbles.

It must be like that ALL OVER. My buddy has a '72 Chevelle that is a "drop-dead" show car . Dark blue with med blue stipes and the underneath of the car is dark blue and the frame is med blue. He waxes the underneath of his car  . Well I tell him his taillight lenses look like S**T. He says at $200+ for all four they're not that bad. I don't know.... I guess I'm a little different (and NOT rich) but if mine where that bad I wouln't give a second thought and most definitly would not settle for something I really don't like (bubble lenses) just because they're less expensive.
