I had a set of Jet-Hot Sterling coated black ones installled the other day. I purchased everything directly from Jet-Hot. I had JCL baffles installed vs. the mufflers. The finish is very similar to chrome although not quite as polished looking when you're up close but still very eye-catching. I would highly recommend them.
I posted this earlier but can any of you guys with sidepipes tell me what spacing you have between your rocker panels and sidepipes?

Chrome has the highest wow factor, but they discolor in time, at least mine did. I had them Jet-Hot coated in their sterling finish.

IMHO, Hooker ceramic is NFG..........got real rusty headers & sidepipes to prove it. Started rusting a month after purchase-

So, where do you get these stainles pipes anyway? I've only seen chrome, ceramic, and painted. Stainless would be so sweet, but I dont know where you would find it???

Summit has them for small block. Hooker hasnt come out with bb yet. Im using hpc stahl headers and stainless 90s and polished stainless sidetubes,the same ones for small block are used on bb.

As of 4/22/04. These prices were from Summit, but Jeg's was within a few dollars overall, as a package price. And both would be ordered factory direct from Hooker. Someone should look into a group price from Hooker which would also speed up production. Alot of these companies will keep these on B/O until they meet a minumum build number (ex. 10+ sets). Meanwhile you maybe waiting for 9 others too pry open they're wallets. I know I'm!

I think these part numbers are polished 304 S/S which is a pretty good quality of S/S. Were yours chrome or coated? By who?
Getting ready to order these, anyone else have the S/S setup?

I bought the SS Super Comp Hookers from summit.....
They are not lasting at all!
These were the most expensive of the three....black, chrome and these SS ones.

I paid Summit almost $1700 for the setup and it's peeling!

It's not chrome! It was sold to me by Summit as SS.
It bubbles up in small areas and when I try to polish it with a metal polish, it peels off!
How do I get a huge picture of my car in this space so you can see what the side pipes look like? That Avitar is too small.
