Whatever.............I'm just trying to be nice. If driving a C5 give you this attitude then its you thats not a Corvette person. Note to self: Keep waving and maybe some of these *&$*!# will finally figure it out :leaving:
I bought my first C3 and started waving when you were still pedaling your bicycle around and have owned eight more since and now I'm driving C5s too. I have a pretty good grip on what "attitude" makes a "Corvette person" and it sure isn't someone who feels the need to bash other owners because of the model they drive. Like others have already stated, the constant C5 bashing on this Forum really gets old. :leaving:
I hate it when any generation doesn't wave back. But I doubt the non-wavers have ever visited the forum. Complaning here is merely commiserating, but won't change anything. :nonod:
:D Who the hell are you? I dont' know you. Besides, I especially don't wave to 68 owners. They are the most odd-ball of all old-technology C3 drivers. So, Cali, how's your carb working today? Is the mixture correct today? Is your top leaking? Has the frame rusted anymore since you bought it? :lolg: :seeya
Actually I have no problems at all. I'm just waiting for the chrome to come back and all excited about the La mesa shows. Every Thursday, starting the 2oth of May. Hey susan will be coming along, see if the Mrs. wants to come andI'll meet you out there. I can also do the El Cajon on wednesdays. Let me know.
I don't own a c3 but I happened to be in here and see Double Aught comments I think he's in a bad mood since his c5 is the last year they were CRAPPY 2001 was when they got added power than gained it .2 in 0-60 and 1/4 time I had a 99 that didn't get as good of time as my 95 vert did so never buy a c5 unless its 01 or newer my 95 vert got 13.2 my 99 got 13.4
I dogged a C5 owner the other day. Didn't mean to. I was just in my own world, driving along. Oh well. I like to think that's the way most of us are.
Honestly, when I'm in my C4, I rarely wave. Why? The C4 is so much like a "normal" car, I often forget I'm driving a Corvette. The C3 is anything but a normal car. You know you're driving a Vette the moment you look out the window.
So don't take it personally. Some guys don't give a crap about the wave, and that's their God Given right. Then there are those who do. And the one's in the middle simply have something else on their mind.
maybe a 85 not a late c4 i've rode in a 85 before the dash was like FLAT reminded me od a buick the interior is way off froma late c4 power too... if yours in a 92-96 c4 u know your in a vette that vette power is THERE i ran 13.2 in my 95 vert bone stock.
