I finally finished all of the supension rebuild and power steering rebuild (and it doesn't leak any more!! Although they did initially until I taped the threads on the P/S valve)
The front rotors looked pretty bad, so I took them in to be turned and they had to grind off quite a bit, but they said it should be ok. After installing them and putting it all back together with new brake pads, they now work but pulsate pretty heavily when I apply the brakes.
Is it possible they took too much off or they still are warped? If so, I guess the only alternative is to replace them. Any way to replace the whole hub and rotor without spending a fortune? (One of the studs is broken on one side in the front, and one is loose in the rear but not broken)
If you had the rotors turned separate from the hubs, that's most likely your problem. They must be turned as a matched set. C2/C3 disk brakes cannot be maintained the same way as other cars.
They were turned with the hubs, but I know there were a couple of tough spots he told me about. They weren't sure they could be turned, one spot was black. I think they just need to be replaced.
