C3 - Best looking car ever?
Whatever problems the first year shark had, I think they got the styling part right the first time.

But I was going to post a pinto anyway....
But for some killer styling ques, you can't go wrong with the VW thing...

BTW: I have owned alot of other hot cars, and many in MUCH nicer shape, but none of them got or get near the "Hey, sweet car" comments as my vette does. Almost EVERY time I take her out, someone gives the thumbs up or tells me I have a nice ride. I am no different myself, when I see a sweet car, I tell the owner so.

appearance wise? It's like telling two identiacal twins one is ugly and the other is pretty.
I agree with you, I own a '74 and I think the smooth uninterrupted lines of the (chrome) bumperless sharks are the greatest. Right up there with them, though, has to be a '63 coupe and a Stinger-hooded '67 roadster, with a '62 close behind.
My other favourite are the 327 and 350 Holden Monaros of the '70's and the E Type Jag roadster, not the coupe, plus the Ferrari Daytona. The Lambo Muira LOOKS great, but ergonomically and mechanically it is a stool. Wouldn't have one as a gift. Well, not unless fitted with a reliable engine/transmission, air conditioning and comfortable seats, anyway.
General Motors Holden produced a Holden Hurricane concept car a few decades ago, and it is still around, along with a one-off Torana GTR-X, which was a fibreglass bodied sports car based on production Torana running gear. That is a Holden 186 c.i. straight six with triple carbs, front engine, rear wheel drive. Kind of like an Australian version of the Corvette, but again, it never got off the ground.
Some news for you Pontiac GTO fans. Most of you have complained about the lack of hood scoops and twin exhausts, well, my spy at GM-H tells me that there are some prototypes at the Fisherman's Bend plant with hood scoops, twin exhausts and "6 litre" badges on the fenders. That should keep you guys happy.
