Dimmer Switch

I NEED TO CHANGE THE DIMMER SWITCH ON MY 1980 IT'S ON THE COLUMN ANBODY DONE THIS?

All the information that you need to just replace your dimmer switch is in the following papers. It is probably easiest to drop the steering column so that you have access to the nut and the screw that holds it in place. This paper will walk you through dropping the column and replacing the dimmer switch. Don't worry about the steering wheel or the other switches. Disconnect your battery before working on your steering column.

This paper describes everything you need.

Did you drop your steering column? Or were you able to replace and adjust your dimmer switch with the steering column in place?
